Meet one of Keynote PCO’s Project Managers Louise Crawford.
Louise Crawford graduated from DIT with a Bsc in Tourism Marketing in 2001 and went from there to Disneyland Resort Paris where she worked in the Product Development department for 2 years. Upon returning to Ireland in 2003 Louise started work in the Marketing Department of Joe Walsh Tours and later took over the role of Marketing Manager. In 2007 Louise joined the Congress Secretariat for the International Epilepsy Congresses where she was responsible for the contracting and sales of delegate accommodation for congresses in excess of 3,000 delegates before joining Keynote PCO in February 2009.
Where do you live – Milltown, Dublin 6 now, originally from Donegal.
How long have you lived there? - 6 ½ years
What is your comfort food? - Beans on toast with a poached egg and a cup of tea!
Who was the last person you texted? - My friend Rita-Marie in Singapore
Ideal Dinner Guests – living or dead? - Matt Damon, David Attenborough, Bruce Parry & my ‘Come Dine with Me’ buddies Clare, Helen, Sabrina & Joan. My ideal dinner would be cooked by James Martin.
Who do you most admire?My Mother
What was your best holiday? - It’s a close call between South Africa and Bolivia
What radio station do you listen to? – Today FM
What was the last book you read? – Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
What was the last film you watched? Inception and loved it!
What website do you look at most? - RTE News
When did you last use public transport? - This morning coming to work.
Highlight of last year? – The birth of my little goddaughter Anna.
What’s the secret of a successful conference? - It must be well organised with nothing left to chance. Good signage and enough well briefed staff are of upmost importance.
